One (1) prize is available:

  • Printed on 100% cotton fine-art paper using archival pigment inks
  • Hand-signed and numbered 1/25 in pencil by Lisa Lynn Adams

  • Shipping: Complimentary tracked and insured shipping within Canada and the continental United States

No substitution, transfer or cash equivalent of prize is permitted.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Canada and the continental United States who have reached the age of majority in their province, territory or state of residence at the time of entry. Employees, contractors and immediate family members of Om Shanti Studio are not eligible.

4. Campaign Dates

  • Opening date: August 19, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time
  • Closing date: October 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Winner selection: Within 3 business days of closing (on or before October 21, 2026)
  • Winner response deadline: 5 business days after notification
  • Approximate shipping date: Within 10 business days of eligibility confirmation

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To receive one base entry, complete the entry form at omshantistudio.com/pages/art-giveaway and provide your first name, email address, country and province or state.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the campaign period.

8. Winner Selection

One winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries using Gratisfaction's verified random selection tool within 3 business days of the closing date.

9. Canadian Skill-Testing Question

Canadian winners must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before the prize is awarded: (8 × 4) − (12 ÷ 3) = ?

10. Winner Verification

The selected entrant will be contacted by email at the address provided at entry. The entrant must respond within 5 business days and complete eligibility verification. Failure to respond within the deadline forfeits the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.

11. Prize Delivery

The prize will be shipped with tracking and insurance to the verified winner's address within Canada or the continental United States. Shipping is complimentary. Om Shanti Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged shipments after proof of delivery is confirmed.

Om Shanti Studio is committed to protecting the privacy of all entrants. The following applies to all personal information collected through this giveaway:

  • Data collected: First name, email address, country and province or state
  • Purpose: Personal information is collected solely to administer this contest
  • Third-party processor: This giveaway is administered using Gratisfaction, a third-party contest platform. Entrant data is processed and stored by Gratisfaction in accordance with their privacy policy
  • Marketing consent: Consent to receive Letters From the Studio is collected separately via an optional, unchecked checkbox. This consent is not required to participate and does not affect eligibility

Meet Lisa,

I’ve been making things my entire life. Painting just took me the longest to find.

I’m Lisa Lynn Adams — artist, writer, poet, creative entrepreneur, and a woman who came to painting the way you come to anything that changes your life: all at once, unstoppably, and way past the point of no return.

I’m a lifelong creator. As a child I wrote stories, made things with my hands, turned everything into something. But painting? Painting found me later. It arrived as an obsession I couldn’t explain and couldn’t ignore. So I stopped trying to explain it and just picked up a brush.

I painted every day. Before I felt ready. Before I thought I was good enough. Before anyone was watching. And somewhere in those daily acts of creating — layer by layer, colour by colour — I found my voice.

That’s the thing about making art. You don’t find your style by waiting. You find it by showing up.

The Work

My paintings are botanical, ethereal, feminine — blush, dusty rose, sage, teal, deep blue, and gold. No harsh tones. No oversaturation. The world already has enough noise.

I work in layers. Acrylics, oils, pastels, resin, crystals, gold leaf, embroidery thread, texture paste, mirror glass. Whatever the painting needs.

My signature approach is what I call the Chill-and-Glow Technique — cool backgrounds that ground everything, warm foregrounds that make it sing, cool shadows, warm highlights. It’s a practice of balance. Like life.

Every painting I make comes with a poem. Because art without words is only half the story.

The Background

Before I was a full-time artist, I spent years in social services — working in youth justice, harm reduction, and Indigenous community programming. I’ve been a business consultant, a podcast host, and a speaker. I’ve spent my life in service of people becoming more fully themselves.

Art is just the newest — and most honest — version of that work.
